High purity silica mesh for use as a reinforcement scrim in the PPG PITT-CHAR XP epoxy intumescent passive fire protection system
Characteristics
- Appearance: white woven mesh (Leno weave)
- High temperature resistance, suitable for hydrocarbon pool and jet-fire protection
- Simple to cut and apply into wet film of coating; no welded pins or mechanical fixings required
- High purity; SiO2 content greater than 96%
- Excellent resistance to chemicals and solvents
- To be installed strictly in accordance with PPG PITT-CHAR Application Guidelines and fire certification requirements
