History

The Imel company was founded in 1964 in Italy with the goal of producing painting systems. To date, more than 1500 systems have been produced in over 70 countries around the world, achieving the status of one of the world leaders in the field.

The company reached the mentioned status gradually and from the very beginning IMEL has given great importance to continuity. Even in the early days, when IMEL was a small workshop, the company's values ​​had the same corporate philosophy - an ethical approach in relations with partners, a spirit of initiative and determination in providing quality solutions, as well as constant investment in research and development.

Services and production

Imel designs, manufactures and installs equipment for powder (POWDER COATING LINES) and liquid painting as well as cataphoresis (CATAPHORESIS PAINTING LINE). One of the main characteristics of IMEL is the ability to adapt its products to the most diverse areas of application. The Italian factory's distinct propensity for innovation has enabled it to specialize in coating and coating system design in four areas:

  • Automotive industry
  • Agriculture, construction, and mining
  • Industry
  • Household appliances

In each of the mentioned areas, IMEL is able to provide flawless service to its clients on a "turnkey" basis, starting from design to after-sales services.

Cooperation

Since 2020, Prohema SRB is the general representative and distributor of the Imel company on the territory of Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, North Macedonia and offers complete solutions (lines/equipment) for liquid and powder painting, and cataphoresis.
